Mogadishu, (insidesomalia.org)- One person is confirmed dead and 5 others were wounded after heavy skirmish between Somali government soldiers stationed at Florencer intersection and their archrivals in the capital Mogadishu Somalia.
The combat started after government soldiers based in the intersection were attacked unaware.
On their side the government soldiers responded heavy fire, and the combat was in action for a brief time.
The reported casualty in the crossfire between the government soldiers and their antagonist is 1 dead and 5 wounded.
The battle has halted all the commercial activities and the movements of the people in the neighborhood.
“After the fight subsided the body of the dead person was taken to a nearby mosque, and the wounded ones were taken to the medic centers” said Ali Yussuf a resident in the area.
Florenca intersection in Wardigley district in the Somali capital Mogadishu has become battle point for the Somali government soldiers and their foe.
It was only some two days ago when the government soldiers stationed at the junction-opened fire at some people who came to rescue of passengers who’s their minibus was squashed by an Ethiopian military truck.
